Monster Month Of Meals – 30 Easy Meal Ideas!

I need about 6 trolleys like this when I shop for our family!!!

I have to be completely honest here and admit that I despise grocery shopping. It is by far the biggest time waster of my week but somehow I think I’d be rather unpopular with the monsters if I just didn’t do it.

So I had a thought, “I wonder if I could shop for a month?”

Now the logistics of the operation wouldn’t quite work for us at the moment as we don’t have a big enough fridge or freezer, but the idea sounds great to me. That way all we would need to buy fresh would be milk, bread and fruit…… Ahhh Bliss.

Oh How I would Love One Of These!

So I decided to come up with a list of easy (usually quick) family meals so that when shopping and meal planning, I can cut my time in half.   Perfect to refer to when planning and having a mental block! (Quite frequent these days -LOL)

Sounds impressive in theory, we just have to try it to see if it works.

I put the feelers out and asked my Facebook Friends to offer meal ideas and suggestions.  Thanks to those that contributed.

Here is what I have come up with so far. I hope to add some recipes in the future!

1. Homemade Lasagna

2. Zucchini Slice

3. Veggie Slice

4. Spag Bol

5. Pasta Bake

So there you have it. 30 meal ideas in one post.

They’re not in any particular order, in fact I’d shuffle them around a bit.

As my cooking skills broaden, I will add more and more ideas.

Hope this has helped some of you out there that are often stuck when meal planning or wondering “What are we having for tea tonight?”

    1. Love this list! I've toyed with the idea of shopping monthly and cooking monthly a few times. I love the idea of cooking a whole heap of meals over a couple of days, freezing them and not having to worry for a whole month about what's for dinner. One day ;)
