Watch Out! I Am Armed & Dangerous With A Dymo Label Maker {And I Have One To GIVEAWAY Too!!!}

CONFESSION TIME……

Forgive me readers for I have sinned…. Well I probably just haven’t expressed how deep my love for all things stationary really is. I may have skimmed the subject before but it truly is a love affair that has been with me since childhood.

You know, it may even cross the line into OBSESSION.

I LOVE STATIONERY!!!

Oh now that feels so much better…. Glad I got that off my chest because now I can tell you all about my latest toy and weapon in the chaos fight to regain organisation here at Chaos HeadQuarters.

{I’m about to BRAG}

Guess what I have??? My very own Dymo Label Maker… Yes that’s right, I have graduated from my original pink and yellow child friendly one to a fully fledged professional looking one. Oh how I knew this day would one day come.

LetraTag Labelmaker
Ahhhh sweet sweet organisation machine....

Please Note: HUBBY GROANS AND ROLLS EYES AT THE OBSESSIVE LABELING TO COME…. Bahahahahahahaha!!!

So my first point of call with my new Dymo is the MonsterSquad’s lunchboxes. No matter how many times I have named them with a permanent texta, it has come off, so I cranked out their name labels with the silver plastic/metallic tape that can withstand the washing of the boxes.

The next thing on my list was the school jumpers. At nearly $60 a pop, we can’t afford to lose them and trust me, they’ve lost a few already so within minutes of reloading the Dymo with the Iron on Fabric Tape, I had printed out several labels to attach to their wandering uniforms….

Now I was on a roll…… The toy room drawers earned themselves labels for what was stored in each drawer, which has made packing up each day a much easier experience.

My next stop will be our office area. I cannot wait to get a start on that one.

Now if you appreciate organisation and labeling like I do, you’ll be interested in the specs of this dynamic little machine!

The best part about reviewing this awesome device is the fact that I get to share one with one lucky Common Chaos Chronicle reader.

I know plenty of you follow my blog in hope of organisation inspiration, so what better chance do you have to make a start on it than with one of these babies????

All I need you to do is leave a comment on this very blog post telling me what would be the first thing you would label with the Dymo if you won it. It’s that simple!

Now I understand if you’re all inspired and  cannot wait for the competition to finish so I will share this added piece of information with you too…

Officeworks (one of my all time favourite stores) are currently running a competition too.

If you head into your local Officeworks store before the 15th of July 2012 to purchase a Dymo Letratag Labelmaker (or a sharpie or Papermate Product), you’ll have the chance to win a family escape to Hawaii worth $20,000 or one of 50 $100 Officeworks vouchers.

How cool would it be to have even more Chaos Readers win awesome prizes?!? So head to Officeworks to check that one out!

      I have the same label maker and just love it, and proudly labeled the pantry within the first day of owning it. My hint, and excuse to use it more, is I also label the due date of the foods in the pantry. At the beginning of each month I do a quick and very easy scan of the cupboard to see if anything has expired or is about to to reduce wastage. Enjoy!
