Monster Squad Meal Planning – A new begining!

Menu Planning. I swear by it.

When I don’t plan meals, we eat rubbish, spend a lot more money and waste a massive amount of time each evening arguing over what we are going to eat.

The last few weeks in our chaotic life has been without planning and I definitely noticed the difference. The problem was that I just kept running out of time each day to sit down and plan my meals and a shopping list so the menu just kept getting put off until “tomorrow”…..

However, tomorrow never comes.

So without further ado, I am putting life on hold this evening and sitting down to plan my menu for this week.

I am planning on typing up my menu each week for the next 6 weeks or so, so that I can reuse and rotate each menu when time is tight and I need to create a menu quickly.

My menu’s start on a Thursday as this is the day I do my shopping.

Thursday
Lunch: Take-Away Treat
Snack: Crackers & Dip
Dinner: Roast Beef & Vegetables
Friday
Lunch: Jaffles with Tin Spaghetti
Snack: Microwave Popcorn
Dinner: Apricot Chicken, Mash Spuds & Corn Cobs
Saturday
Lunch: Freezer Snacks
Snack: Fruit
Dinner: Sizzle Steaks, Chips & Salad
Sunday
Lunch: Steamed  Dim Sims
Snack: 2 Min Noodles (Half Serve)
Dinner: Honey Mustard Chicken on Rice
Monday
Lunch: Toasted Sandwich
Snack: Fruit
Dinner: Carbonara Pasta & Garlic Bread
Tuesday
Lunch: Nachos
Snack: Dry Biscuits & Cheese
Dinner: Chicken Parmas & Scalloped Potato Bake
Wednesday
Lunch: Toasted Sandwich
Snack: Dim Sims
Dinner: Beef Stir-Fry on Rice
