Quick and Easy FREEZABLE Lunch Box Snacks – Decorated Biscuits.

Here’s a quick and easy Lunch Box snack idea that is budget friendly, super quick and easy and is also FREEZABLE, which means you can make them up in bulk and freeze them to save time when making up school lunches.

The best part of this lunch treat is that the children can even make them too!

What you’ll need:

Some Marie or Milk Arrowroot Biscuits and some Icing Writing tubes. Both are readily available from most supermarkets, and are very reasonably priced!

Simply lay out your biscuits on a flat surface and using the Writing Icing tubes, draw anything you like on the biscuits.

I even left messages for the kids on them too, which they thought was absolutely awesome as did their teachers!

I put them in the fridge for a couple of hours, which seemed to help the icing set and then divided them up into to freezer bags for the freezer.

Option 2:

Now of course you can make up your own icing, and basically add any decorations of the lolly/chocolates variety. Here’s some I have done in the past, for special treats!

Personally, I love the personalised messages, but let your imagination run wild. You could decorate them anyway you like….

* Footballs

* Basketballs

* Animals

* Flowers and more!

    Wow! Jac they look monster-ific! Love the mice ones! Can’t wait until we are all feeling better to make some 🙂

  2. That is so fun!! I could have biscuits that say things like “put your damn bus pass away”, or “hang up your back pack”, or “don’t leave your bloody shoes in the middle of the floor”, or “what do you mean you’ve lost your jumper again?”, or “how did you get clay all over the back of your tunic?”, or “where’s your f-ing hat?”. Can you tell I’ve had a frustrating few days?
